He Is Risen Indeed!

Now in those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus to register all the empire for taxes. This was the first registration, taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria. Everyone went to his own town to be registered. So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to the city of David called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family line of David. Is There Evidence That Obama is a Christian?

A caller on Point of View said that he voted for Obama because he is a Christian and Romney is not.

For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ."

Obama is for the murder of the unborn at taxpayer expense. He is for same-sex marriage. He shows disdain for the Constitution and its separation of powers. He refuses to enforce Immigration laws passed by a Democrat Congress and signed by a Republican President in the 1980s and a Defense of Marriage Act passed by a Republican Congress and signed by a Democrat President in the 1990s. He ignored established bankruptcy law and placed the UAW in front of bondholders. He sued states like SC to prevent the checking of photo IDs at the polls.

I understand that you have a choice between Romney, a bishop in the Mormon Church, and Obama who is for taxpayer-funded abortion and for same-sex marriage in all states, has not enforced the Defense of Marriage Act and Immigration Acts, and has deceived America about foreign actions.

Obama may be a Christian. I am not convinced, but God knows his heart. I will vote for Romney for his business, management and leadership skills - not for his theology!

People Get Ready for the Train is Coming!

Very soon Jesus will rapture His Church to Heaven. Christians should be shouting for joy! Why aren't they? The church of Laodicea said “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing.” Jesus called them lukewarm, and said He would spit them out.

I had some tokens made which say “VOTE” on one side and “Jesus for King” on the other with “In God We Trust” around the curvature. These are meant to used like opportunistic tracts. When you give someone the token and they ask “How can I vote for Jesus?”, hopefully you will answer something like ”Repent of your sins, and trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord.” Then explain exactly what that means.

Christians should not look to the DNC or RNC for hope. In 1 Thes 4, Paul tells us about the rapture of the Church and says “Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

If you have read this blog, then you have read Biblical evidence of 6,000 years and a 1,000 reign of Jesus on the Earth. If you have not read the entire Bible from Genesis through Revelation, then you may not believe this. The Word is His plan for His creation. Those who say they are “christians” because it is politically correct to do so, will be spit out of Jesus' mouth.

I believe that the Antichrist and his false prophet are alive on the Earth today. I do not know the day or hour of Jesus' coming, but I do believe that it is imminent!

The Return of the Mahdi is Imminent

Two-thirds of a billion Muslims expect the Mahdi – the last Islamic imam they believe will come and rule the world – to arrive in their lifetimes. This expectation is most widespread in Afghanistan (83 percent), Iraq (72 percent), Tunisia (67 percent) and Malaysia (62 percent). Shi’as are more likely than Sunnis to expect the Mahdi to return in their lifetime, by an 88 percent to 55 percent margin.

Don't confuse this with the catching up of the Church to Heaven and the Lord's return in power 7 years later to rule for 1,000 years.

The point is that even Islam and secular sources like the Mayans, Nostradamus and the Oracle of Delphi point to the end of life as we know it.

Women Have to be Second-class Citizens?

This is of course a lie propagated by feminists and those who are ignorant of the Bible. They quote "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. for the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church." Since the husband is the head in the same way that Christ is the head of the church, then the husband should exercise headship as Christ would. The husband should so love his wife that he would die for her.

Also, being subject "as to the Lord" is not onerous, since "God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

For a woman to ignore this passage, she must come down from the elevated position where she has been placed.

Responsibility of the Rich

On the National Day of Prayer, the President quoted Luke 12:48b:

“From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.”

Obama has been clear as to how the wealthy will give back. We are not talking about philanthropists like John D. Rockefeller or Andrew Carnegie or Henry Ford or Bill and Melinda Gates. We are talking about a tax rate which hit 90% under a big-government party - Democrats. The person who is given/entrusted much pays to the government, and the government requires much and asks all the more and distributes the wealth as it sees fit. Politicians usually distribute the wealth to those who support them and will vote for them. This is not considered bribery.

Karl Marx said: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." He also saw the government [elitists at the Politburo] as the vehicle instead of the philanthropist. The Bible also says in 2 Thess 3:10b:

“if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either.”

The context is Christians who were leading unproductive lives. If unproductive Christians were not to receive charity, what about unproductive unbelievers? The correct place for charity is: "Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress." Jesus said, “ For you always have the poor with you”. This was to those who thought doing good deeds was more important than being with and worshiping God incarnate.

If we realize that “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”, Jeremiah 17:9, then any requests for charity should be fulfilled with much prayer. It is obvious that this is not a consideration in Washington DC.

The Imminent Return of the Lord

Early in this blog I have made a Biblical case for a young Earth and an imminent removal of the Church from the Earth. In Genesis there are six days of creation and a day of rest. In 2 Peter 3, a day is as a thousand years. The context is Jesus Christ's return. There are 6,000 years and a millineal kingdom (1,000 years). In Luke 3 Jesus' (through Mary) geneology goes all the way back to Adam. The Bible gives the number of years between generations up to historical figures.

Critics say the Bible says “no man knows the day or the hour.” This does not mean that we who have read the Bible and have the Holy Spirit within must be ignorant of when Jesus will come for His Church. When Jesus said that we are in the last days, that is 2,000 years. I believe that the “rapture of the Church” can happen any minute. This means that the Anti-Christ is alive today – probably already an adult. Obama is not the Anti-Christ – although he may be the false prophet.

If you see things getting worse quickly, then read my blog and the Word. I am pre-Trib, pre-Mill so I believe that the Church will be in Heaven with the Lord during the Tribulation and will return with the Lord at His second coming to the Earth. The Church and those Jews saved during the Tribulation will live for 1,000 years with the Lord as King and the curse lifted.

In God We Trust - Others We Vet

Until Jesus takes his rightful place on his throne, we should never trust a man or woman placed in a position of influence above us.

There is none righteous - no not one!

give to first believers in need and then to others in need.
This is very different than sending excess to Washington, D.C.
