The Trinity - More Than Ice, Water & Vapor

___The Christian doctrine of the Trinity is difficult for the minds of mankind because it is not possible to understand a God who is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. God is a spirit, but we talk about him in human terms. We talk about Jesus as the “son” of God, but we cannot understand a virgin pregnancy and virgin birth. Although Mary is the instrument of the Word becoming flesh, she is not God's “wife” nor is she divine (Mother of God). Joseph is Jesus' “stepfather” so that Jesus has the legal right to be king. Both Joseph and Mary are descendents of David – a double fulfillment of Scripture.

___One of the analogies used to demonstrate a trinity is ice, water and water vapor. Although this analogy is obviously limited, it presents a molecule with 3 atoms, matter which can exist in 3 states, – solid, liquid and gas – and discusses a substance necessary for life itself.

___God is holy, and we may exist in his presence only clothed in the righteousness of Christ. Ice is uncomfortable to humans unless they are properly clothed. Jesus became flesh and shed his blood at the cross to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We are clothed in his righteousness when we accept him as Savior. Water can be used to wash away the filth of this world. Water is used to baptize a believer. The Spirit indwells each believer, and “translates” the Word of God so that we may understand him. We cannot see water vapor – although we can “feel” its energy. We cannot see the Spirit - although we can “feel” his presence and power.

The President Apologizes for Barbarism of Christians While Minimizing that of ISIS

___It is hard to believe the President when he says that he is a Christian. He has lied so many times about other things, then why not his faith? He spent his formative years (6-10) attending Muslim schools in Indonesia. His “christian minister” was Jeremiah Wright – who would have God damn America.

___At national prayer breakfasts he has misused a verse from Luke's gospel to shame Christians for not giving more. He meant giving in the Marxist sense, trusting those in power to determine the receipients of the giving. Now he repeats the Islamic extremists defense that Christians have committed the same atrocities as ISIS. They point to a time before the Protestant Reformation when the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) was the main “christian” church and committed the Crusades (1097-1297AD) and the Inquisition.

___The RCC is a cult. It has taught that the clergy is an intermediary between mankind and God. It sought to only educate the clergy. Priests and nuns are not allowed to marry even though the apostle Peter – who is the “rock” upon which the church is built – was married. It has taught about a holding place, Purgatory, after death where prayers can be made to get the dead to Heaven if they weren't “good enough” to get there directly. It has sold indulgences claiming spiritual benefit. It endorces prayer to Mary as “mother of God” and others who have been elevated to the status of sainthood.

___The President also blames slavery and Jim Crow laws of the 20th century on “christians.” Slavery existed before, during and after biblical times. It still exists today. The strong defeat and control the weak. Victorious tribes sold their defeated victims as property. Traders then resold them to others as property. Human beings were “owned.” Scientists considered Negroes inferior and sought to abort or sterilize the weak in a Darwinian breeding program (eugenics). A higher percentage of “blacks” have been aborted than any other race since Margaret Sanger founded what became Planned Parenthood.
